Y'know, I never intended to be a pixel artist. I always wanted to be one of those people who can do the crazy good digital paintings and whatnot. Never really practiced though, and spent more of my time honing my pixelling skills, after I found out about the community and whatnot.
Still, every once in awhile I need to whip out my tablet and just try to do something with it. Tonight I tried to do a speedpaint... this took me maybe a little less than two hours. Still, I've seen some crazy amazing speedpaints that took less time. It's something I think I'd like to continue practicing.

I always thought the opposite of myself! Always saw me as a better pixel-artist than a digital artist, but I'm recently producing MUCH more digital art than pixel. I think I might get rusty if this continues >:
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

I think it's those oddly sky-scraper like rock formations.
Nice work, digital painting is something I've also begun to strive to do better with as of late. %D
