Enemy idle animation. It just kinda rocks back and forth. I included the 2 frames of turning animation (and the opposite-facing version of the sprite) for kicks.
There's an attack animation, a damaged animation and a death animation to go along with this, but this is really all I think I'll post. I still need to color the rest...
Total of something like 10 unique frames, not counting the flipped ones. 60 frames total to the gif.
wow :surprized: how on earth do you make those cool animations what do you use? i have been trying to make them but i have no idea how! great animation (looks kinda cute) ^^
My method isn't really good. I use Paintshop Pro 7 for all of my still pixel art, and it comes with a program called Animation Shop. Basically what I end up doing is creating a sprite sheet of all the frames, in lineart only, then I paste each frame into a separate fixed canvas (so I can line everything up with the previous frame) and then it gets pasted into animation shop. I look for errors and fix accordingly.
Then I have to color everything, which is just about as annoying. It's a pain. I'm going to try to use GraphicsGale or something next time, which is a pixel art program with animation support built in.
Wish there was a sprite sheet of the Image's you used, I might be able to use him in a game I'm making for fun if there was...
