I do not currently, and never will understand deviantArt's limitation on Gif animation size. Gif's are generally going to be smaller (bytewise) than large jpegs or pngs. Even animated ones.

Seriously. This thing is 12 kilobytes. That's not even a strain on dial-up. But a lot of people are going to overlook this submission because they have to click download...

Anyway, I took the sprites from my earlier SHMUP submissions and gave them full animations. Mildly inspired by 's stuff. Great pixel artist by the way. You should check him out.


Edit: If you don't already know this, Internet Explorer is dumb with gif's. This will display slowly in IE. Firefox seems to handle it just fine. Not sure about the other browsers.
