Haven't done pixel art in a little while. Some more Harmonia related stuff. Not much to say. Inspired by the end-credits art in Cave Story (the monotone art depicting a scene from the game).
The styles aren't exactly the same (cave story uses no outlines) but it's better that way. Viktor overlooking the fields of Harmony. Edit: FlyGuy over at PixelJoint reminded me to add a shadow. Edit 2: Yeah, ShoneGold is right, this is uploaded at 2x original size. That's another Cave Story thing. It gives the piece a larger size while still remaining pixellated and old-school looking. Edit Again, Sir: Did I say monotone? Seriously? Like Ben Stein? I think I meant monoCHROME. Daily DeviationGiven 2008-07-30Fields of Harmony by ~Kaiseto - At first glance this may not be recognized as PixelArt with the soft cool colours, harmoniously blending into each other with a soft misty feel about the work. 10 colours used in this very appealing piece of work. Please note this work appears to have been uploaded with a 200% magnification, so the original piece may be actually half the size of this piece....however, the artist has not confirmed this in his Artist Notes as yet. I know we had creative differences before, and cooperative working issues as well, but this recent work of yours fits the theme of what, I think, we were trying to accomplish so well that I'm inspired to put in a massive coordinated effort to get this game made the way that it intends itself to be.
...and that was one sentence.
The only thing that would really need happening is a convergence of our respective pixel styles...(goes off mumbling)
